Name Our Quokka: $1 for Every Name Will Support the Rottnest Foundation

The idea is simple: you submit a name for the SprintSuite quokka, and SprintSuite donates $1 to the Rottnest Foundation for every valid name submitted. One entrant will win a Rottnest Island getaway.

There is no donation required from entrants. Submitting a valid name is enough to add another dollar to SprintSuite's contribution. Every entry has two chances to make an impact — it could become the official name of our quokka, and it grows the support directed to the Rottnest Foundation.

The Rottnest Foundation raises funds for projects that help conserve the natural environment and heritage of Rottnest Island, also known as Wadjemup. Its work supports habitat restoration and ongoing quokka monitoring — the Foundation explains that quokka-focused donations help restore woodland and coastal habitat, providing more food, shade and shelter for the island's quokkas.

This matters because quokkas are listed as a vulnerable species. Protecting them is not only about individual animals; it also means caring for the habitat and wider island environment they depend on. The Foundation also supports research into quokka health and habitat, with monitoring measures such as animal weight, tail circumference, weaning rates and relative abundance.

SprintSuite works closely with mining, engineering and field service businesses across Australia, including a growing community in Western Australia.

As we head to Perth for the WA Mining Conference and Exhibition (Stand N107), we wanted a campaign that felt genuinely connected to WA — not simply our logo placed beside a local landmark. The quokka gave us a playful way to bring people together, and supporting the Rottnest Foundation gives that idea a practical purpose. The more people who take part, the larger SprintSuite's contribution becomes.

One entrant will win a Rottnest Island getaway, giving them the chance to experience the place that inspired the campaign. The winning name will also become part of the SprintSuite quokka's identity beyond the competition — you may see him at events, in future campaigns and around the SprintSuite community.

Most importantly, you do not need to find the winning name to help. Every valid entry contributes another $1 from SprintSuite to the Rottnest Foundation.
