AusIMM Critical Minerals Conference 2026: Dates, Program and What It Means for Contractors

The Critical Minerals Conference is AusIMM's flagship event on the minerals underpinning the energy transition — lithium, rare earths, copper, nickel, cobalt, graphite, vanadium and the rest of the critical minerals list. It is a technical and strategic conference rather than a trade expo: leaders from mining companies, finance, government, universities and processing bring the whole supply chain into one room to debate demand, investment, discovery, processing and downstream manufacturing.

Critical Minerals 2026 (#CMC2026) runs Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 September 2026 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, on the Brisbane River next to South Bank — around 30 minutes from the domestic and international terminals.
